Long Island Paddlers
I’m posting this on behalf of Jim Dreeben. His offer is good till 12/31/2022:
I will buy pizza and beer and help with the shuttle for any paddler who paddles from Orient Point to Riverhead , unsupported, in under 10 hours. It’s important to check the tides in Orient Point. If it’s not windy and you catch the right tide you will have about 5 hours of easy paddling and the balance moderate paddling.

P.S. Riverhead is the beer capital of Long Island with at least 6 breweries in town and a few more in the suburbs or surrounding countryside.
