Long Island Paddlers

Meet at 9:45 at the state park kayak ramp.

Dress appropriately for the chilly water temperature!

On the water by 10:00. Paddle leisurely up river right (on the far side from the put in) with the incoming tide. Break for lunch at Paul T. Given park. Paddle back to the put in with the outgoing tide, maybe a faster pace. High tide is somewhere around 12:15.

No attendee limit provided more trip leaders sign on – this is usually not an issue. Come one, come all. Bring a friend but remember that you are responsible to assess their capabilities and they must sign a waiver before the paddle.

You know the drill. Know your skill level. Dress according to the water temperature and bring the required safety equipment, water, sunscreen, (craft beverages – for the trip leaders once we are back on dry land).

Trip leaders will notify all attendees of any changes reflecting the trip via email.

Linda’s Riverside Pizzeria & Cafe has become an after paddle tradition but is closed on Mondays.
